Visiting from Belfast wherever I go I always like to find a good coffee shop and I doubt very much I would find another one better than Akin. So looking forward to visiting again.- Service

This coffee shop might be the reason Colwyn will become my go-to Welsh beach town from Manchester! It’s so nice (and unexpected) finding a place who actually does coffee well near the beach up north!!

Fantastic new coffee spot in colwyn bay, very welcoming, lovely couple that run it and the coffee was delicious, we tried the flight and all 3 coffees tasted amazing and no extra charge for oatmilk, cute shop alongside it with candles, tote bags, cards etc - wishing them all the success for their business and we will be back soon

Amazing new addition to the North Wales coffee scene. The attention to detail here is incredible, the ideal environment to enjoy a perfectly crafted coffee!! Coffee & cakes were 10/10, we’ll definitely be regulars!

Lovely little spot with great coffee, we had two iced lattes which were delicious. Owners were super friendly and we enjoyed having a chat with them. Highly recommend!

One of the best coffees I've ever had. Always telling when you order a Latte and if doesn't need any sugar. Bizzarely, it's also one of the few places you can get a coffee in Colwyn Bay on a Sunday. Lack.of a toilet is an issue however.

What a gem of a find! Opened two weeks ago and stopped by for a decaf flat white and slice of cake! All amazing and so tasty. Staff were super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend trying Akin! Welcome the area! Robin Phoenix Rug and Carpet Cleaning Ltd

The best decaf coffee I’ve had in North Wales and really reasonably priced. The staff there were really lovely and it’s great to have a coffee shop open on a Sunday. I’d definitely recommend this place.

The speciality coffee hits hard, one of the best filter coffees I've ever had.
The decor and vibe is minimalist and cool and they sell cute aesthetic things, soaps, ceramics, books, candles, glassware, art and that's awesome.- Service

If you are serious about coffee then you will welcome Akin, a new addition to North Wales (Colwyn Bay). These folks really know their stuff: beans, to grind, to brew. I had a superb filter coffee, very fairly priced, full of fresh and interesting flavours, from a cohort of growers in Colombia via an excellent roaster on the south coast. And the brownie was a bit special. I will be back soon to try their espresso etc
